Central park is the largest park in Jaipur and is constructed by Jaipur development authority. It is located in the centre of the pink city. It has a beautiful green garden and Rambagh polo ground nearby. It also has the golf club in its vicinity that makes it one of the exciting and enjoyable places in jaipur. This garden has a 5km long jogging and walking track that makes it the best place for morning and evening walkers. It is also the space for the flora and fauna lover as it inhabits many of migratory and native birds visit round the year.


This place is also of national importance because of the presence of 206 feet high first day and night monumental National Flag. It is supposedly the tallest flag hosted of the country. The flag that is 48 feet wide and 72 feet in length flutters throughout the year magnificently at the Central Park in Jaipur. The high voltage light falls on it throughout the night making it look more glorious.


The unwinding of the flag comes, after the Union Home Ministry in December of 2009 allowed the flag to fly day and night on a pole of 100-feet in height and with sufficient lighting.


There are musical fountains, temples and stone states that further add up to the beauty of this alluring park. The presence of the musical fountain attracts many regular visitors to spend some nice time in the evening.


The main feature of this park is absolutely the wide variety of flora and fauna present here. Visitors get to view different types of birds and their chirrups fill the atmosphere with more beauty. This is like a paradise for bird watchers. Children enjoy these kinds of places a lot. The constellation of Capricorn and the winter solstice is beautifully represented by the 13 stone figures present in this parl. The then Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje officially inaugurated this park on January 21st, 2006.


As this park is of national and cultural importance, ample amount of measures are taken up by Jaipur development authority to keep it well and developed and maintain its popularity in Jaipur. Recently this park is modernized and upgraded by Jaipur development authority.


This is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. This city's exuberance has been improves much by the appealing charisma of this distinguished garden. This park now offers all the luxuries of a modern theme park where people can spend hours in this spellbind and mesmerizing atmosphere. The enigmatic aromas of the plants make the atmosphere all the more beautiful.


This park also inhabits a nursery where foreign varieties of bamboo plants are nurtured. Besides this the magical fountains and floriculture adds a wonderful charm to this garden. And it also catches the attention of spectator.


This garden provides a touch of tranquility to the otherwise busy life of Jaipur. Also being a well planned city government takes special care of the Gardens to facilitate the growth of tourism industry.
